This is a one‑day, engineering‑focused, practical EN 1090 course that clearly explains exactly what fabricators, RWCs, inspectors and QA/QC must do to achieve and maintain UKCA / CE marking compliance. 

SCOPE OF TRAINING

Our BS EN 1090-1 training sets out the legal and technical requirements for fabricators of steel and aluminium structures to achieve UKCA/CE Marking, focusing on the development and third‑party auditing of a compliant Factory Production Control (FPC) system. 

The course explains how Execution Classes (EXC1–EXC4) are determined, the role of constituent products and product standards, preparation grades for steel and the detailed quality and technical requirements in BS EN 1090‑2 and BS EN 1090‑3. 

It covers structural design responsibilities, component specification, purchasing and inspection documentation (including BS EN 10204 certification), identification and traceability, Inspection & Test Plans, welding coordination and Responsible Welding Coordinator requirements, welding procedure and welder qualification standards, cutting requirements, equipment calibration, non‑conformance control and the Declaration of Performance. 

Overall, the course provides a complete, practical pathway for fabricators to implement, evidence and maintain compliance with BS EN 1090 for UKCA/CE Marking.

The training is presented on 1-day, either ON-SITE at your premises, or ONLINE.
