A COMPREHENSIVE, FULL-COLOUR TRAINING HANDBOOK is also provided on the course, which provides an EXCELLENT REFERENCE document following completion of the training.
There is an Assessment at the end of the training & candidates who achieve the required standard will be awarded a CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT & CPD 15 HOURS.

SELF STUDY
The course is completed by SELF STUDY, which provides a FLEXIBLE route for candidates to START & PROGRESS through the training at ANYTIME, ANYWHERE & at their OWN PACE. Total estimated SELF STUDY time required to complete the course is 15 HOURS.
TUTOR SUPPORT
During their progression through the SELF STUDY course, the candidate also has the option to request a TUTORIAL SESSION with the COURSE TUTOR of up to 2 HOURS DURATION. The aim of the Session, which would be be arranged ONLINE or by PHONE, would be to review any issues the candidate may have on their understanding of the course material.

He has a Master's Degree in Advanced Metallurgy (MMet) from the University of Sheffield and is professionally qualified in Materials Engineering & Metallurgy through professional membership (MIMMM) of The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3.) Philip is also a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and is professionally qualified in Welding through professional membership of the Welding Institute (MWeldI.)
Philip also possesses more than 30 years' experience in the metals manufacturing, engineering, welding & fabrication industries, including extensive experience as a Technical Manager in Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking supplying high-integrity steels into the Power Generation, Offshore, Aerospace, Rail, Defence and Heavy Engineering industries.
