FLEXIBLE SELF STUDY Training COURSE
COURSE OVERVIEW
This SELF STUDY training course is suitable for candidates in ALL FUNCTIONS & at ALL LEVELS who are looking to DEVELOP their KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING on the METALLURGY of ALUMINIUM & ITS ALLOYS.
The course is suitable for candidates in ALL FUNCTIONS & at ALL LEVELS & would be IDEAL for anyone that is NEW to ALUMINIUM METALLURGY as NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE of Metallurgy is required & there are NO SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.
The course would also be IDEAL for Trainees, Students & Apprentices who are looking to increase their KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS towards undertaking a role as a METALLURGIST.
The course is divided in to 4 MODULES as follows:
Physical Metallurgy & Crystalline Structure of Metals
Extraction and Metallurgy of Aluminium & Its Alloys
Mechanical Properties & Their Measurement
Inspection: Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Techniques
SELF STUDY
The course is completed by SELF STUDY, which provides a FLEXIBLE route for candidates to START & PROGRESS through the training at ANYTIME, ANYWHERE & at their OWN PACE. Total estimated SELF STUDY time required to complete the course is 25 HOURS. The START DATE for the training would follow receipt of payment of the course fees. All course materials would be posted & e-mailed to the candidate.

Candidates are assessed on the training by continuous Assessments and those who achieve the required standard will be awarded a CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT & CPD 25 HOURS.

During their progression through the SELF STUDY course, the candidate also has the option to request a TUTORIAL SESSION with the COURSE TUTOR of up to 2 HOURS DURATION.
